G-Luckingtaire
A downloadable game
Objects Needed in Order to Play:
- A standard deck of cards
- A paper for each person (to keep track of the points)
- A writing utensil
Main Goal: To be able to match as many same pairs as possible and getting as many points as possible. People with strong memory will have a huge advantage in this game. Luck also plays a huge role for this game.
Rules:
1. Players: 2-4 people max. The fewer people, the longer the game would be.
2. Every player can only flip 2 cards per turn (Except for Ace).
How To Play (Very Simple):
- Phase 1 (Who's Going First?): 1 person will take a King, a Queen, a Joker, and an Ace card and shuffle them. face them down. The person that gets an Ace card will go 1st, King will go 2nd, Queen will go 3rd, last but not least Joker will go 4th.
- Phase 2 (Game):
1. First, shuffle the cards until they are mixed up (hopefully).
2. Put all the 52 cards face down like the picture shown below (It doesn't have to be shaped like picture below. We can make it shaped like a star, the shape doesn't really matter, as long as the cards are not placed on top of each other.)
3. The person that gets King starts 1st. flip 2 cards. if the 2 cards flipped are not the same, flip them back, and then the next person starts to flip 2 cards and so on. If the 2 cards flipped are the same, take the 2 cards. But each pair of cards has a point in them so flip them wisely. BUT there is a special case with Ace. For example, if you flip 2 cards and gets an Ace in one of the cards you get to keep the Ace but flip back the other cards. If you flip 1 pair of Aces in one turn you win the game instantly. But if you get 2 Ace cards separately, you are not winning yet because you get them in separate turns. If that's the case, you can use them to take from someone's deck of cards instead.
The points on each pair are listed below:
- Pair of Kings: 4 points
- Pair of Queens: 3 points
- Pair of Jokers: 2 points
- Pair of other cards: 1 point
- Ace card: 0 point. But you can use this card only when it's your turn. you can either choose to use the Ace pair or continue flipping the 2 cards but cannot do both. choose someone from your group and flip the cards from their deck.
- Pair of Aces: Instant win!
4. If nobody gets a pair of Aces in one turn, just add the points on paper. Whoever gets the most points win the game.
